The Spanish outlet OKDiario reports that the issue of banning Israel from European competitions will be raised this week at a forum of football association secretaries. While the body cannot impose sanctions, it may adopt a collective position that could pave the way for tougher decisions by UEFA’s Executive Committee.

The US is preparing to present a comprehensive plan to end the war in Gaza and secure the release of hostages, alongside what sources describe as a “gradual Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.” Officials also noted that the framework would include the transfer of humanitarian aid through “international institutions.”
