Shlomo Mantzur's story is a testament to the bloody history under Muslim rule
As a child in Baghdad, Shlomo Mantzur climbed onto the roof of his home and watched as an Arab mob filled the streets. He witnessed men, women, and children being murdered, limbs severed, women raped, synagogues destroyed, and Torah scrolls desecrated. Unlike previous massacres and pogroms, the horrors of October 7 could have been prevented. That is why the sense of abandonment and helplessness remains unbearable.
