International footwear and apparel company Reebok announced recently that it is closing its seven locations in Israel in favor of promoting its online retail activity. A subsidiary of multinational sportswear manufacturer Adidas, Reebok has announced that five of its stores would be shuttered and the remaining two will be converted into Adidas outlets.
Reebok cited the lack of overall demand for the brand in Israel as the reason for its decision, along with diminished store traffic due to the restrictions imposed on retailing activity in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
