Israeli airline Israir is in talks with the United Arab Emirates about establishing direct flight routes between the Jewish state and the Emirates, Channel 13 News reported. The talks follow the historic peace deal between the two countries.
Emirati real estate tycoon and philanthropist Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor told the outlet that his company was in talks with Israir, saying, "My team and the Israeli team held talks this afternoon regarding commercial airline and charters for tourists. Definitely, my team is negotiating and I hope we will reach an agreement to benefit both the Israeli company and the UAE."
