Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi is set to visit Berlin on Wednesday for a series of meetings with EU foreign ministers who will convene in the German capital for an informal gathering.
This will be the first time in three years that an Israeli foreign minister meets with his European Union counterparts.

Ashkenazi is expected, among other things, to address the peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, and Israel's plans to advance peace negotiations with the Palestinians.
