President Lazarus Chakwera of Malawi announced plans to reform his country's Foreign Affairs Ministry and international missions abroad, saying he will open an embassy in Jerusalem, The Jewish Press reported Sunday.
Chakwera, 65, an Evangelical, has long been supportive of the Jewish state, which he last visited last year.
