Seventeen lawmakers on Wednesday sent a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urging him to unfreeze the construction of some 9,000 housing north of Jerusalem.
The Prime Minister's Office said in a statement, "Prime Minister Netanyahu has fostered an unprecedented construction boom in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria and he will continue to do so.

"Efforts to push thought construction in the Jerusalem Zoning Committee are underway. The committee will debate the plans in the near future."
