Israeli startups have raised $1.1 billion in August, a new report by Start-Up Nation Central, an independent nonprofit organization focusing on Israeli innovation.
The figure may be higher as a growing number of companies prefer not to release information about their revenue stream.

Data showed that 2020 began strongly with $5.25 billion raised in the first six months. With $2.45 billion raised in July, August, and September, the amount across the first nine months of the year comes to over $7.6 billion, well on course to surpass last year's record, despite the COVID-19 crisis.
