The government's unclear and at times zigzagging coronavirus directives are confusing the public: Data from the Israel Police shows that since the onset of the pandemic in mid-March, the police information center has received more than 2.5 million inquiries from concerned citizens regarding the government's directives.
In 2019, the call center received 2 million calls – overall.
