In an attempt to stop the spread of coronavirus, the city of Rehovot in central Israel – home to the Weizmann Institute of Science and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Faculty of Agriculture – has decided to offer free coronavirus testing for all residents, without a doctor's referral.
The city sent out a message via Whatsapp on Monday informing residents that this Wednesday and Thursday, anyone who fears that he or she might have contracted coronavirus or is in quarantine and not yet received the results of their tests may be tested at a facility set up on Ahinoam Nahmani St., just off the city's ring road.

Testing will take place from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. No referral is needed, but anyone being tested must bring photo ID.
