Enrique Tarrio, leader of the far-right US group the Proud Boys, was among at least four people targeted in a stabbing attack in Washington, DC, on Wednesday.

Tarrio himself reportedly sustained a slashing wound in the stomach, while multiple other group members were also wounded.
Local outlets cited Tarrio as saying he blamed the attack on Black Lives Matters activists, who "jumped" him and his associates on their way home from a bar where they were watching the 2020 US elections.
