UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Monday called for combating hatred in the world, receiving the Theodor Herzl Prize in a virtual ceremony, awarded by the World Jewish Congress for the first time to a leader of Nations United.
"Along with COVID-19, another virus has spread: Anti-Semitism and hatred in many forms," he said, branding the fact of "seeing today marches of neo-Nazis and white supremacists" as "frightening."
