A startup called the Gateway Foundation is planning to launch a luxury hotel in space and name it the Von Braun Space Station.
Potential Jewish space tourists might find this destination somewhat problematic as Wernher von Braun was an SS officer and member of the Nazi party who developed the V-2 rocket, one of the most dangerous weapons of the Nazi regime, which killed thousands.

Von Braun and his specialists were transferred to the US after the war, where they eventually assimilated into NASA. Von Braun's work greatly attributed to the Apollo project and the moon landing.
The design of the Von Braun Space Station is based on concepts developed by von Braun, first to envision the idea of a space station in the 1950s.
"The goal of the Gateway Foundation is to have the Von Braun operational by 2025 with 100 tourists visiting the station per week," said Tim Alatorre, senior design architect of the Von Braun Space Station.
