The Israeli military has offered its assistance to the Health Ministry as the country prepares to distribute millions of doses of the coronavirus vaccines. Ministry Director-General Professor Hezi Levy was receptive to the idea.

"This is a big operation, and the IDF has the capabilities to do it," an IDF official said.
The IDF's Alon taskforce has recently become fully operational, overseeing the national effort to curb the spread of the disease through contact tracing, sampling and testing.
