Renowned Israeli theater producer and director Yaakov Agmon passed away at the age of 91 at the Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer

Agmon, who was married to renowned Israeli actress Gila Almagor, was born in Poland and was four when his family immigrated to Israel. He was a member of the Hashomer Hatzair youth movement and was one of the first members of Kibbutz Harel.
Agmon was also the general manager of Israel's national theater, Habima, and founded other theaters.
