Israel and Morocco have agreed to establish joint teams to promote cooperation between the countries in various fields, the Prime Minister's Office said Friday in a statement.

The teams will work on strengthening relations in investment, transportation, water, environment, energy, tourism, and more, the PMO added, stressing that due to pandemic circumstances, talks will be held long distance.
After Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to King of Morocco Mohammed VI earlier in the week, Israel's National Security Advisor Meir Ben Shabbat talked to Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita on Friday.
