The Labor party held primaries on Monday, ahead of the Thursday deadline set by the Central Election Committee by which all parties vying in the March 23 elections must present their slates.

MK Merav Michaeli was elected party leader last week. Monday saw former MK Omer Barlev elected to the top spot on Labor's slate, followed by social activist Emilie Moatti, Reform Rabbi Gilad Kariv, and TV personality Efrat Rayten rounding off the top five.
Former Blue and White MK Ram Shefa placed sixth, followed by Arab Israeli film director Ibtisam Mara'ana, former Labor MK Nahman Shai, Haifa City Councilwoman Naama Lazimi, and Gil Beilin, son of former Labor MK Yossi Beilin, in the 10th spot.
