Ibtisam Mara'ana, a controversial candidate on the Labor party's slate voted for the Joint Arab List in the March 2020 elections.

Last week, the Central Elections Committee banning Mara'ana from vying in the March 23 election, citing her radical political agenda. Labor has contested the ruling before the Supreme Court.
Mara'ana had shared her 2020 vote on social media, posting a photo of the ballot slip and telling her followers she exercised her right to vote despite being under the weather.

"I'm very sick. Only the Joint Arab List could get me to leave the house," she wrote on Instagram.
The Joint Arab List shared the post, writing, "Ibtisam Mara'ana knows that the Joint Arab List is the only reason to get out the house. The Joint Arab List is proud to be the uncompromising representative of the Arab sector and the Left."
