The Israeli Navy on Monday foiled what the military called "a potential threat" to vessels operating off Israel's southern shores, near the Gaza Strip.

According to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, Israeli forces "identified naval activity off the coast of Gaza that posed a potential threat to INF vessels. The threat was neutralized.
"The military will continue to counter threatening activity in the maritime space," it said.
