Chairman of the Central Elections Committee Judge Uzi Fogelman has banned Channel 13 from broadcasting a clip of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu performing standup comedy on the show "Standup Nation."

According to Fogelman, Netanyahu cannot appear on the show because it would comprise "election propaganda" being mixed with entertainment, which the law prohibits.
The judge said that once the election was over, the network was free to broadcast the Netanyahu routine.
The Likud said in response that it planned to challenge the decision to "censor" Prime Minister on Channel 13.
"We are censored, while flattering interviews with the rest of the politicians on interview shows, or political propaganda on [the satirical program] 'Eretz Nehederet' are not," the Likud said.
