On Monday, the airline said it was canceling a string of flights to Israel scheduled for March 7-9. In a statement, United apologized for the inconvenience and cited the policies of the Israeli government with respect to the coronavirus as the reason for the move.
On Tuesday afternoon, the airline reversed its decision, saying that not only will it resume its regular flight schedule, but next week it will also operate several additional flights to Israel, to meet the demand.
