The IDF struck Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip later on Thursday night following terrorist rocket fire on Israel's south, the military confirmed over the weekend. The rocker landed in an open area near Kibbutz Nir Am, causing no damange.

The IDF said that the targets included a munitions manufacturing site, a weapons smuggling tunnel and a military post.
Palestinian media reports of six Israeli strikes on the coastal enclave, but gave no details on damage or casualties.
