An Israeli driver was attacked following a car accident on Hebron Road in Jerusalem on Monday morning.

In a video clip of the events, Palestinians are seen throwing rocks at the vehicle. The driver loses control of his car, veers to the side of the road, colliding with a concrete pillar and one of the rioters.

A police officer who was at the scene tried to rescue the occupants of the car, felt at risk, and fired warning shots in the air.
Additional police personnel helped the driver and passengers, who sustained minor injuries, out of the car, and pushed back the rioters. Police were in pursuit of the suspects.
