Two police officers were stabbed in the Jerusalem suburb of Givat Ze'ev on Wednesday in what is believed to be a criminal incident.

One officer was seriously wounded, while the other sustained minor injuries. Despite their injuries, the officers engaged, shooting their attacker and moderately wounding him.
The man, a 25-year-old resident of the community, is believed to be mentally unstable.
All three were taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
