Knesset Security Chief Yosef Griff has decided to provide Yamina MKs Nir Orbach and Idit Silman with a security detail following threats against those lawmakers over Yamina's decision to join Yesh Atid head Yair Lapid's coalition.

Following Yamina head Naftali Bennett's decision to sign a coalition agreement with Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid, there has been increased pressure on party members to join Yamina member Amichai Chikli in voting against the establishment of a "pro-change" government.
Shin Bet Agency head Nadav Argaman on Saturday called on all public leaders to act to "immediately put a stop to the violent, inciting discourse on social media."
Last week, the Shin Bet increased security for Bennett and his No. 2, MK Ayelet Shaked. The threat assessment pertaining to their security was upgraded to Level 5 – just one level shy of the gravest possible threat.
