IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi awarded a commendation to a secret unit of the IDF's Intelligence Directorate on Tuesday, praising its members for their "outstanding, groundbreaking work."

Kochavi said that the unit had demonstrated courage, innovation, and a desire to tackle the enemy that had generated important successes for the IDF.
Commander Lt. Col. M. was awarded a personal commendation for his role in the unit's actions.
