PTSD-afflicted IDF veteran Itzik Saidyan, who set himself on fire outside the Defense Ministry's rehabilitation department offices in Petah Tikva in April and has been hospitalized at Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer ever since, is breathing on his own, the hospital reported Tuesday.

Saidyan is still in a medically induced coma and his life is in danger. According to a statement from the hospital, he is still undergoing surgeries.
"The Burn Intensive Care Unit at Sheba continues to do everything in its power to save his life," the hospital said.
