IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi warned Lebanon on Tuesday that Israel will respond forcibly to any rocket attacks. The statement followed rocket fire by Lebanon-based terrorists on Israel late Monday night.

"Lebanon is in a process of collapse. Hezbollah has a significant role in this collapse. However, we don't intend to allow fire like there was early this morning toward northern communities," Kochavi said.
Israel, he said, "will respond and attack from Lebanon, direct or indirect, that constitutes any violation of our sovereignty."
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Defense Minister Benny Gantz issued similar warnings to Lebanon and the Shiite terrorist group following the rocket fire.
