The international Catholic movement Community of Saint Egidio has endorsed the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of antisemitism, which declares that delegitimization of Israel, double standard, and the use of antisemitic symbols all fall under the umbrella of antisemitism.

This is the first time an international Catholic movement has adopted the IHRA definition of antisemitism.
Israel's envoy to the Vatican, Oren David, told Israel Hayom that "This is a clear and unequivocal statement that rejects antisemitism in all its forms, as detailed in the broad definition from the IHRA, whose examples include delegitimization and demonization of Israel and denial of the Jewish people's right to self-determination."
