At least 50 children received medical attention at a swimming pool in Kfar Vradim in northern Israel on Thursday after a blast involving toxic materials.

Most of the children sustained minor to moderate injuries, which mainly affected their breathing. Children requiring hospitalization were evacuated to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya.
The Kfar Vradim local council issued a statement about the incident: "Due to a chlorine leak at a private pool at the Kfar Vradim country club, a number of guests were injured and evacuated to the hospital. Council head Eyal Shmueli wishes a speedy recovery to all the injured, and thanks the medical staff, police, and fire and rescue services for their work."
