Religious Zionist Party leader Bezalel Smotrich on Wednesday blamed the fourth resurgence of the coronavirus in Israel on the Tel Aviv Pride Parade, which took place in June.

According to Walla News, the hawkish right-winger did not name any other mass public gathering held in recent months, including in the religious sector, to the increasing morbidity.
Addressing a Knesset plenary session, Smotrich slammed the parade as a "massive infection party," and called it the "pandemonium that took place over there, in Tel Aviv."
He justified his accusation, saying, "No one else has the courage to say this because it's not politically correct."
