Police think the incident might have come after the suspect argued with a man who worked in the same shop.
Officers from the Jaffa police station responded immediately to the reports about a man who was aiming a shoulder-launched missile at the storefront, located on Washington St. Police eventually located the man and the weapon. The former was remanded, and the latter was turned over to police sappers.
Attorney Yossi Shiloach, a public defender assigned to the case, said, "This is a homeless man who is addicted to drugs and suffering from financial distress. The suspect is cooperating with investigators."
