IDF aircraft targeted Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip overnight following rocket fire from the coastal enclave into Israeli territory.

The IDF Spokesperson's Unit said that the airstrikes targeted a Hamas military compound with several underground rocket production workshops, a training facility, a weapons cache, and a terror tunnel.
"The IDF will not accept a situation in which terrorist organizations act against the Israeli home front. The IDF will continue to respond strongly to terrorist acts from the Gaza Strip and sees the Hamas organization as responsible for everything that is happening in the Gaza Strip," the statement noted.
