IDF security forces operating overnight Wednesday in the Palestinian village of Burqin, near Jenin, were involved in a gunfight when a suspected terrorist they were trying to apprehend opened fire on them.\

According to Palestinian reports, the terrorist was killed. No injuries were reported among the Israeli troops.
In a separate incident, Israeli troops stationed in east Jerusalem eliminated a female terrorist who tried to stab them. Here, too, no harm came to the police officers.
