Regional Cooperation Minister Esawi Frej visited the Israeli humanitarian organization Save a Child's Heart, which receives support from the ministry, this week to see its work first-hand.

While at the Save a Child's Heart Children's Home, Frej met with children from Myanmar, Guinea, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Kenya and other countries, as well as the Palestinian Authority and Gaza Strip who are benefitting from a free weekly clinic for Palestinian families at the new Sylvan Adams Children's Hospital in Wolfson Medical Center.
Frej also met medical team members who treat the children, including several from his home town of Kafr Qasim.
