A team from Israel's Fire and Rescue Services were scrambled to a shopping center in Lod on Friday morning to assist a woman whose hair got trapped in an escalator.

After the woman was pulled off the escalator, she was evacuated to a hospital for additional medical treatment.
Lahav Shalom Davidovtich, head of the team, said, "When we reached the scene, we saw a woman lying on the ground, with her hair caught in the escalator. Immediately, I ordered things to stay as they were, to shut off the electricity and for onlookers to keep away as we began extracting her."
