A senior official in United Torah Judaism told Israel Hayom on Monday that if Opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu signs a plea deal, UTJ will try to join the government.

UTJ joining the coalition would be conditional on all matters of religion and state being frozen and the status quo being upheld.
"We will aim to negotiate with [Foreign Minister] Yair Lapid," the official said.
