Bennett is slated to hold a security situation assessment later in the day following the deadly terrorist attack in Hadera on Sunday evening.
The meeting is expected to include Defense Minister Benny Gantz, Public Security Minister Omer Barlev, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi, Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar, and Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai.
Opposition Leader Benjamin Netanyahu took to Twitter immediately after news of Bennett's condition were made public, writing, "Health comes first. I wish Naftali Bennett a speedy recovery."
