In a speech marking International Al-Quds Day on Friday, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said that if Israel were to attack the Islamic Republic from the territory of a Persian Gulf country, Iran would retaliate against that Arab state.

While directed Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, which normalized relations with Israel when they signed the Abraham Accords, the message was also relayed to Jerusalem.
Nasrallah said, "Iran could attack Israel directly" and that the upcoming elections in Lebanon would not prevent him from responding to "Israel aggression."

He added that Hezbollah reaffirmed "the regional equation around Jerusalem and calls for countries in the region to send a message to the entity that the extinction" of Jerusalem and the holy places would mean the extinction of Israel."
Earlier Friday, Quds Force commander Brig. Gen. Esmail Qaani said Iranian drones had recently carried out a mission over Israel. According to Qaani, the two Iranian drones had put the Israeli security system on high alert.
