A 20-year-old soldier was rushed to a hospital in central Israel on Monday morning after suffering a snakebite to the neck during a training session on base.

MDA paramedics treated the soldier before evacuating him to the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera where he remains in serious, unstable condition, the IDF confirmed.
Monday's incident is the fourth case of snakebite reported in the past four days.
