Gantz met with Cypriot Chief of the National Guard General Staff Lt. Gen. Demokritos Zervakis.
"Alongside handling day-to-day security in routine times, the IDF is constantly prepared for various operations and campaigns on various fronts and will deliver a major blow against all those who threaten the State of Israel's citizens.
He thanked Israel's Cypriot partners for hosting them and "allowing us to improve and train. This illustrates the depth of the strategic alliance between the two countries. I am very happy that I came here today, and I am very encouraged by what I have seen."
