Bennett said that despite the headlines about the Netanyahu government and concerns over far-right elements in the emerging coalition, they should be given a chance.
Bennett also thanked Sullivan and President Joe Biden for their support for Israel, and especially for not renewing the nuclear deal with Iran and heeding Jerusalem's position on the matter.
The government I led maintained good ties with the US while standing up for Israel's interests. I hope this will continue. The two countries must maintain and strengthen their relations, regardless of political fluctuations. Israel is facing great challenges but we also have great opportunities in the regional context, and I hope the good ties with the US will be maintained, he said.
