A terrorist attack on Sunday just after 1 p.m. , a Palestinian attacked Israelis near Nir Zvi Junction in central Israel, not far from a military base outside Rishon LeZion. Israeli security forces engaged in a firefight with the armed individual before neutralizing the attacker, who according to authorities, was a Palestinian living in Jerusalem while holding an Israeli residency certificate.

The incident included a ramming component, according to reports, which took place at a bus stop. According to unverified reports, there were also gunfire shots heard, although they could have been the resulf of the neutralization of the attacker. According to an initial assessment by medics, at least two were in serious condition, one person was in moderate condition, with another victim suffering minor wounds,
The first responder organization Magen David Adom said in a statement that after "1 p.m. a report was received at the the Magen David Adom 101 call center in the Ayalon region about 2 men who were hit by a vehicle at the Nir Zvi junction. MDA paramedics and EMTs are providing medical treatment on the scene."
