As previously reported, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has decided against extending its flight advisory for Israel. This significant move, anticipated to prompt European carriers to resume their Israeli operations, follows the lead of several airlines that have already restarted flights or announced imminent returns to Israeli routes.
The list of airlines that have resumed Israeli operations includes Aegean, LOT Polish Airlines, Wizz Air, Air Europa, Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines, Air France, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, ITA Airways, Air Bulgaria, TAROM, and various other carriers. Additionally, several European airlines, including some non-EU members, have announced plans to restart Israeli services in the near future, among them British Airways, Ryanair, easyJet, and other operators.

Notable European carriers that have yet to return to Israel – and whose resumption of services might be expedited by the EU decision – include Portugal's TAP Air, Spain's Iberia and Vueling, the Netherlands' KLM, and several other airlines.
At present, numerous carriers beyond Europe have also not announced plans to resume Israeli operations, including American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Korean Air, United Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Air Canada, Virgin Atlantic, Emirates, Royal Jordanian, and others who may subsequently announce their return to Israeli routes.
