The Islamic Jihad terror organization released a proof-of-life video Wednesday of hostage Rom Braslavski, who is being held captive by the group.

In the video, the young hostage addresses the Israeli government, pleading to be returned home. He also makes a direct appeal to US President Donald Trump, specifically reminding the president of his promise to bring all hostages back.

This marks the first recorded proof of life from Rom since his capture. Although his face was blurred in the footage, he can be identified by certain distinguishing features. Previously, one of the hostages who returned from captivity brought news about Rom's condition, and even addressed him directly in one of his recorded videos, promising that he was working toward securing his release.

"We need to do everything possible," Rom's mother, Tami Braslavski, said. "The State of Israel needs to stop and see my son, whose mental state, soul, and body they have broken. They want to drive them crazy there. I want my son and all the hostages home!"
