Another blow to Iran: A massive explosion occurred at the facilities of a company associated with the Islamic Republic's Supreme National Security Council and drone industries in the city of Isfahan.
Investigations by the Iranian opposition news outlet Iran International indicated that the company where the explosion took place on Tuesday in Isfahan operates under the supervision of the Supreme National Security Council and specializes in manufacturing flammable materials. Its executives are also involved with another company linked to the Islamic Republic's drone sector, where an explosion occurred in 2021.
The regional director of the Emergency Management Department of Isfahan Province announced that the explosion took place in a production hall belonging to a company called Avanar Parsian in the Mima area of Isfahan, resulting in the death of one person and burns to two others.
As of now, no official report has been published regarding the cause of the explosion, which occurred just four days after a similar incident at the port of Bandar Abbas. On its website, Avanar Parsian states that it manufactures fireworks and dynamite products and operates under the supervision of the Supreme National Security Council.

In June 2021, an explosion occurred at the Nar Gostar Sepahan factory in the city of Shahin Shahr in Isfahan. At the time, the Guardian reported that the Islamic Republic's Aerospace Industries Organization, which produces various types of unmanned aerial vehicles, operates at the same complex.
