Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said Tuesday that the ceasefire negotiations between Israel and the terrorist organization Hamas, held in Doha in recent weeks, are stalled due to deep divisions between the parties.
Speaking at an economic forum in the Qatari capital, Al Thani noted that no significant progress had been achieved in the discussions, which aim to halt the fighting in the Gaza Strip.

Israel had planned to withdraw its delegation from Doha on Monday if Hamas refused to agree to the Wittkopf framework, but ultimately decided to keep the team in place for continued negotiations.
The Wittkopf framework under discussion includes a 40-50 day ceasefire in exchange for the release of 10 hostages held alive by Hamas. Ten days into the truce, Hamas would provide a detailed list clarifying the status of the remaining hostages. Simultaneously, negotiations would begin on a broader deal to end the war and secure the return of all remaining hostages, both the living and the deceased.
