Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer and Mossad Director David Barnea will travel tomorrow for discussions with US envoy Steve Witkoff , ahead of the upcoming round of US-Iran talks. "This is yet another attempt to clarify Israel's position," an Israeli official said on Thursday.
Earlier, Oman's foreign minister announced that the sixth round of negotiations between the US and Iran is scheduled to take place this Sunday, June 15, in Muscat.
These developments come amid rising tensions, as reports intensify regarding a possible Israeli strike, the International Atomic Energy Agency's determination that Iran has violated the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, and threats from the Islamic Republic in response.
Simultaneously, Iran has announced the launch of military exercises "focused on enemy movements."
