Early Saturday morning, air raid sirens echoed across Israel – from the northern Sharon region to the south – following another barrage of missiles launched from Iran, according to the Home Front Command. A direct strike hit a residential building in Gush Dan, resulting in two fatalities and approximately 20 injuries, including a 30-year-old man in critical condition and two others in serious condition. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) rushed to the scene near private homes along the coastal plain, providing treatment to around 10 people with light to moderate injuries.

The attack followed Iran's initial surprise assault on Friday night, when approximately 100 missiles targeted Israeli territory. Home Front Command issued an emergency directive nationwide, urging residents to enter protected spaces. Seven individuals were evacuated to Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv, most with minor injuries and one in moderate condition. Wolfson Hospital reported treating 10 casualties, eight of whom sustained light injuries, with trauma and emergency teams conducting critical assessments.

A resident, identified as N, whose home was destroyed, recounted, "We're physically and mentally okay. We entered the shelter – all of us, the kids, the dog – and there was a direct hit. Nothing is left of the house, the cars, everything is in pieces, everything is gone. We were in the basement shelter. The missile fell, the power went out, and within a minute and a half, rescue forces arrived. When we came out, everything was destroyed – the glass, the cars. The dog ran away. Nothing is left, absolutely nothing."

Firefighting representative Eran Natanel, a deputy commander, described the scene, "This is a severe strike with massive damage – massive damage to homes and infrastructure. Fire services were reinforced from the start of this campaign. We arrived with large teams and, with police and Home Front Command assistance, managed to rescue nearly four trapped individuals in various conditions. Much work remains. We're scanning the entire neighborhood, multiple streets, and a large number of homes affected by the strikes. At the epicenter, four homes were severely damaged. These homes have basements, and residents were likely sheltered there. We rescued at least two people from basements."

Police reported that Central District officers were handling the site of a munitions impact, likely with casualties in a building. Officers and bomb disposal units worked to secure the area, eliminate further risks, and assist the injured alongside medical teams. The Home Front Command later announced, "Following a situation assessment, residents may exit protected spaces but should remain nearby across all regions. Please continue adhering to Home Front Command guidelines and official instructions."
