European sources told Sky News Arabic that a large-scale Israeli attack on Lebanon could be only a matter of time, adding "it's unclear how Israel will proceed with Lebanon in such a scenario."

Just Thursday, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Diyar, which is close to Hezbollah, reported that the Bekaa region faces a major threat of military escalation that would strike the terrorist organization's centers. At the same time, a Lebanese security official said that Hezbollah has decided to respond to any Israeli ground attack directly.

The security official predicted an imminent security escalation by Israel. However, the official claimed that Hezbollah today is more immune than it was before the 2024 northern front war.

Just Thursday, the IDF struck several terrorist targets belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the Bekaa region of Lebanon using Israeli Air Force aircraft. Among the targets struck was a camp used for training terrorists from the Hezbollah terrorist organization, where terrorists from the organization were identified.

In addition, the official said that the eliminations of Hezbollah terrorists (hundreds of operatives and field commanders) did not include senior figures in the terrorist organization. The official added that Hezbollah has learned lessons from the recent war and the chain of eliminations, led by the elimination of Hassan Nasrallah. This is because the organization had to develop a different military plan that would provide it with "defensive and deterrent capability" against Israel.
